Our first project in our production groups (group 15) consisted of making a short 1-minute film following a character completing a task. Collectively we decided on the task being locking up a bike with the unexpected issue of the lock key going missing. Our script is as follows:

After filming, our group split in half with one editing the rule-of-thirds and mine, centre framing.

Centre Framing:

In my opinion, I feel like the centre framing worked the best as it positioned the audience to feel more connected to our character than the sometimes awkward looking thrids framing. Despite this, in both we came across filming issues we hope to improve next time, one being the sound which we mistakenly didn't record, and the changing exposure between our wide shot and others. In post-production, we also found that due to the rainy conditions some shots had our umbrella and towels covering parts of the lens. Regardless, we were able to verify these and plan on carefully checking these issues in our next film.
