MARKS
The second film ever made on my iPhone 7. Conveying the theme of 'work' through a teenager who begins to use artwork as a coping mechanism after the death of her friend. Looking back on this, much of my work has drastically improved, but I can appreciate the creativity and attempts to carry out my vision, especially the first attempt at a colour grade.

DON'T STOP
Produced in 2021, my short film follows the journey of a teenage girl called Sara who combats challenges in order to achieve a skateboard trick of dropping down a ramp. Inspired by films such as 'Skate Kitchen' (Crystal Moselle, 2018), 'Vertigo' (Alfred Hitchcock, 1958) and my own experience of taking up this hobby during lockdown, I hoped to inspire younger female viewers to set aside gender stereotypes and understand that failure is just a step closer to success.
