Flat movie night

For our first group film night, we decided on the classic 'Midsommar' by Ari Aster as the majority hadn't seen it before. For me, this was my second re-watch in which I noticed many things I missed out on when previously engrossed in the story. The use of sound in the editing especially jumped out at me as the purposeful silences especially created an atmosphere of uneasiness. The realism of the scrip makes this traumatic story feel all the more real.
